HI I'M KIER

Wedding Videographer & Owner of reel boys film

I got married and I got made redundant!

Getting married and hiring a wedding videographer myself opened my eyes to how much I would enjoy creating wedding films.

Losing my job made me realise that I’d be better off following my passion rather than sticking with a career I disliked.

Now, my wife and I have welcomed our first daughter, and I couldn't be happier! I hope to set an example for her, encouraging her to pursue whatever she loves when she grows up.

I found my passion for filmmaking around 17 years ago. My best friend from school also shared the same interest (fun fact: he was my best man at my wedding!). When I left full time education I faced discouragement about pursuing a career in filmmaking, so I ended up working in sales and spent over a decade working up the corporate ladder.

Despite this, I kept my hobby alive in my free time. My friend Will and I (the school friend from earlier) decided to start Reel Boys Film as a creative outlet. We took on various freelance video production projects while juggling our full-time jobs.

Then, two things happened…
